Clara Balderas

Senior UX Designer

Clara is a professional with 7+ years of experience working on the ideation, design, and development of digital products such as web platforms and mobile applications for organizations of all sizes.

She graduated with honors as an Engineer in Information Technologies and Communications from ITESM, and started her professional career as a Web Developer. Then she switched to User Experience (UX) in 2015, and got her Master Certificate with the Nielsen Norman Group, along with the specialties of Interaction Design (2017), User Research (2018), and UX Management (2019).

She is currently a Senior UX Designer and has participated as a speaker, mentor, and trainer for topics such as Design Thinking, User Research, and the UX-PM Certificate Program. Some of her daily activities include getting familiar with the client’s needs and requirements, rapid ideation and sketching, wireframing, prototyping, and conducting usability testing sessions.

Clara loves to create connections between people’s needs and business’ goals to promote meaningful growth for the company, while positively impacting people’s lives.

Sandra Ruiz

Sandra Ruiz

Associate UX Designer

Sandra got a Design Bachelor’s Degree from ITESO and studied abroad about Consumer and Economics Psychology at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in The Netherlands. (2014)

As a UX Designer at Wizeline, she has been working on solutions that identify the problems behind existing services with multiple dependencies. Some of her favorite projects involve researching to determine the current state of systems and tailoring them to real-user needs and pain points.

Her experience at facilitating workshops has helped her to understand business problems and align stakeholders toward desired outcomes.

Next, Sandra is planning to study a Design Thinking Master at MIT.

Itzel Barreto

Itzel Barreto

Associate UX Designer

Itzel graduated as an industrial designer from CIDI (UNAM) and studied abroad for her Master of Systemic Design degree at the Politecnico di Torino in Italy.

As part of her experience, she was involved in social entrepreneurship projects like the Hult Prize in San Francisco, where she applied Service Design and Design Thinking methodologies to create sustainable strategies for social challenges.

Currently, she is working at Wizeline as a UX designer in client-facing projects, looking for ways to introduce more human-centered products and services to the market.
Itzel enjoys finding solutions to systemic problems. Not only focusing on physical or digital solutions, but in diving deep in the behaviors and interconnections between the context and the people.
