Become a UX Designer

During this course, we will introduce students to the basics and most important aspects of User Experience Design, and the advantages of designing products with a user-centered approach.

Students will be walked through topics such as User research, ideation and sketching, prototyping and user testing.

 

Requirements:

  • Technical or design background. Good understanding of tech industry-related concepts.
  • No laptop

Joel Montiel

UX Manager

Joel studied graphic design at the University of Guadalajara. He has more than five years of experience working on the development of digital products and alongside cross-functional teams. Before joining Wizeline, he worked as a product designer and user researcher for a Silicon Valley Startup. Currently, at Wizeline, Joel is the UX lead for chatbots and enjoys learning and applying new techniques to adapt UX into fast-moving environments.

Emmanuel Aguirre

Emmanuel Aguirre

Ux Designer

Emmanuel started his career at Wizeline as a UX Designer after graduating from UX Academy. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, he has 6+ years of experience developing digital products for companies such as Royal Caribbean Australia and Dale Carnegie Training. At Wizeline, he's currently working on services projects and enjoys trying new tools and methodologies that allow him to improve his workflow.

Javier Humarán

Javier Humarán

UX Designer

Javier studied Software Engineering at the Institute of Technology of Sonora. Before joining Wizeline, he worked as a frontend and iOS developer. He was part of the first UX Academy and joined Wizeline as a UX Designer more than a year ago. Today he uses his Software Engineering background to create more holistic user experiences mostly for chatbots and voice user interfaces.
