Join Liz Fong-Jones, Principal Developer Advocate for SRE & Observability at Honeycomb, in this on-demand workshop you will understand how to detangle complex systems and establish a culture of production excellence. This workshop will cover the basics of observability as well as other elements of production excellence like SLOs and collaboration. 

Who should take this course?

This workshop is designed for people with:

  • Basic programming knowledge in at least one language (Java, Node.js, Python, .NET, or Golang).
  • Prior experience delivering and/or operating production software.

Liz Fong-Jones

Principal Developer Advocate for SRE & Observability at Honeycomb

Liz is a developer advocate, labor and ethics organizer, and site reliability engineer (SRE) with 16+ years of experience. She is an advocate at Honeycomb for the SRE and observability communities. Previously, she worked as an SRE on products ranging from the Google Cloud Load Balancer to Google Flights.

She lives in Vancouver, BC with her wife Elly, partners, and a Samoyed/golden retriever mix and in Sydney, NSW. She plays classical piano, leads an EVE Online alliance, and advocates for transgender rights.
