Technical Writing Certification

As one of the biggest emerging professions in IT, Technical Writing combines the art of writing with the science of technology. The Wizeline Technical Writing team is an avant-garde initiative that merges the collective skill set of professionals from multiple industries to provide the most optimal solution for our clientele. This course presents a unique opportunity to learn about technical writing from our experienced and diverse team.

Technical writers understand, translate, and propagate complex technical concepts into useful information for any audience. At Wizeline, our Technical Writing team works with Engineering, Design, and Product Management teams to develop high-quality documentation based on business and technical goals.

During this course, you will learn about:

  • The day-to-day job, tasks, responsibilities, and challenges of a technical writer.
  • The technical writing process to create various types of documents.
  • The relevant technologies and tools a technical writer must know to be successful in the field.

Meeta Gupta

Technical Writer Manager

Meeta is a Masters in Comp. Engineering, but a writer at heart. She has more than 20 years of experience in Technical Writing, and was the Director of the Technical Publications department at her last organization, before she joined Wizeline. In the past, she has worked for organizations like Oracle, RSA Security, CA Technologies, etc. She also has a Cisco Press book called “Storage Area Network Fundamentals” to her name.

Joaquin Romo

Technical Writer

Joaquin has been involved on both sides of the end user documentation. First as a heavy documentation consumer and now as a content creator. Experiencing the importance of good product documentation led him towards the technical writing career path. Joaquin has lectured previous workshops in Mexico and Vietnam and truly enjoys doing it. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering but loves technology in all fields and markets.

Eduardo Ocejo is a Technical Writer at Wizeline. He has been working with language and the written word through multiple professional experiences. He is passionate about analyzing and improving the visual and verbal aspects of content. He also enjoys editing images and creating motion graphics.

Maribel Carrillo

Maribel Carrillo

Technical Writer

Maribel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sciences and Techniques of Communication and has been a Technical Writer at Wizeline for over two years. She previously worked in digital marketing, focusing on web development and documentation, which allowed her to develop her public speaking and customer management skills. Maribel is a graduate of Wizeline’s first Technical Writing Academy.

Silvia Alvarado is a Senior Technical Writer at Wizeline with more than six years of experience working in software development companies. She makes sure to gain an in-depth understanding of the product and the customer’s demands and needs to deliver precise and to-the-point documents.

Arunabh Nag

Senior Technical Writer

Arunabh, a Senior Technical Writer at Wizeline, has been documenting software products for close to a decade for industries such as telecom, networks, education, aviation cargo, IT infrastructure, and financial information. Recently, Arunabh has also been prospecting around the automation of documentation and documentation processes.

Alejandra joined Wizeline as a Technical Writer in 2018. Before, she worked as a newspaper reporter for four years. Alejandra holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and a Master's Degree in Information Technology. She also has experience doing research and applying data mining techniques in the area of social science.

Liliana Badillo

Senior Technical Writer

Liliana holds a Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics from the University of Leeds, UK. She has experience writing scientific papers and continues to write and publish. She also has experience in writing software using AI techniques and doing data science. Liliana is a graduate of Wizeline’s first CDMX Technical Writing Academy.

Isaí Cortés

Technical Writer

Isaí is an IT professional with 23 years of experience. He has worked in different technology fields and wore different hats. He has been a team leader, software developer, and server administrator. His areas of expertise include ITIL procedures, documentation, PeopleSoft security, web development, antivirus management, CMS administration, and email server support. Isaí has been a technical writer at Wizeline for almost two years.

Juan José Ruiz

Juan José Ruiz

Associate Technical Writer

Juan José has been a software developer for more than eight years. Recently, he decided to embark on the technical writing path to fulfill his need for concisely conveying ideas and thus be able to come up with impactful products. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from ITESM and he made good use of that degree for almost five years implementing backend solutions at Oracle. He’s very interested in the transcendence of keen user research.

Angela Bauche

Angela Bauche

Technical Writer

Angela has almost two years of experience as a Technical Writer. She started her career designing, developing, and writing interactive microsites and then became a Project Manager in the same field for a few years. Angela decided to pursue Technical Writing after graduating from the second Technical Writing Academy. She’s passionate about learning theory and techniques from other fields and analyzing how she can incorporate them into her Technical Writing process.

Salomon Marquez

Salomon Marquez

Technical Writer

Salomon holds a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. As a researcher, he published peer-reviewed journals in the field of Micro and Nanotechnology. Nowadays, he switched gears towards the production of high-quality documentation in the software industry. He enjoys programming and embracing automation solutions for documenting. Salomon is a graduate of the Wizeline’s first Technical Writing Academy in 2017.
