Accessibility helps ensure a product or service can be used by everyone. As designers, we should work to accommodate all potential users in various contexts of use. There are clear benefits in prioritizing accessibility — most notably, better designs for all.

This bootcamp covers the basics of accessibility, why it is important, and how to implement it with the help of a development team, concluding with practice on how to test for accessibility.

UX Service Design Bootcamp

2 weeks

About

Services help to facilitate key moments in our lives, such as having children, getting married, moving to a new home, or accessing healthcare. Often, we don’t fully realize the importance and value of a service until something in the process fails. This can happen for a number of reasons, but is often the result of a lack of thoughtful design by the organization providing the service.

Service design has emerged as a crucial component for organizations, and a core skill in the UX field. This bootcamp will introduce service design as a practice, and the intersections with UX.
